Zeke doesn’t support MIH as is. In this whole thread about what started the convo, you have yet to address taking action to halt predatory real estate entities from being able to buy up housing. “Build, build, build” w/ no regulations, etc. doesn’t work.

Huh? Ive barely said anything here other than a “zoning overlay w deep affordability” is literally what MIH is. It’s a fact. Anyway re stopping predatory RE - I strongly agree and rent regulations& eviction protections are the best first step which is why I focus on that.

Hi Cea They're discussing the wedges you've pushed btwn organizing for tenants rights, against displacement, anti-nycha privatization, anti-homelessness, & pro-clt. Also how u turn the spotlight away from corporate landlords & fight with the small ones. Shows your alignment.

We don't care what you're saying about MIH, you're defending your buddy @AOC, who's started pushing the corporate real estate speculator line around the same time you did. (Though idk what your definition of deep affordability is, but it's *nowhere* in MIH.)

Is @AOC's line here part of the federal-level zoning preemption legislation you're working on?

If you aren’t working on federal level issues, why did you comment on this thread to begin with? All you do is deflect & not define things explicitly unless demanded to. It’s very strange & alarming. Anything that enables real estate players is just bad .
