Looking at changes around the neighborhood and hearing about rent increases across the city, I can’t help but wonder how long I’m going to be able to stay here if #goodcause doesn’t pass, and soon

The most depressing door I’ve ever had in any canvassing was a young woman who told me she’d gotten a good deal for a year and just expected to move, where the landlord has been illegally overcharging. Wouldn’t fight! People just expect their own exploitation and displacement.
