Also if they are LGBTQ and they can’t pay their rent this bill does nothing to protect them or any other New Yorker from eviction. Which why, when a vast majority of evictions in this city and state are for non payment is kind of missing the whole gdamn point.
Jaaaaayyyyyyyy ur friends can raise rent however much they want and they just have to justify it *if a tenant falls behind*, *if there is a nonpayment case*, *if the increase is over 8% (this year)* I know u r smart enough to know that so what gives

When a contract expires my reason for not continuing that business relationship is really no one’s business. No one should be forced to continue a relationship they wish not to continue.
