hi! no one is "trading" anything. we're supportive of calls to extend the moratorium; we're also saying that we need good cause in place if/when it expires and putting work into building support for that. 1/2
it's fair to say that the assessment in the legislature (and in the courts) for extension is bleak and we're not giving up but that's has certainly upped our urgency for GCE. GCE also has more support than it's ever had, hearings and conference - it's moving! <3 2/2
