I mean I think it’s wrong because the most successful coops are something that looks like “mass social housing.” not the small scale HDFCs but are mitchel lamas, coop city, penn south

I also think that anything that lacks real community control is not durable political for the long haul. Lack of resident trust in NYCHA is a huge barrier. Mass constituencies and community buy-in (“control”) is like a necessary component for success
