i think Vanessa made the point that it’s unfair to say even short term “affordable housing” is a benefit, so the framing i think was missed/off. but yeah some capitalist & market based tools can meet material needs in short term, but undermines the bigger picture ur talking abt

Right that was my point! Like yes. 1000 units are affordable at an AMI that is below the local AMI. But at what cost? and who does it create value for?
