If you are comfortable being inside, I'd grab a bite to eat in the neighborhood and then visit the National Museum of Mexican Art.

I'm partial to Birreria Reyes de Octolan, but there are tons of amazing choices. That one is also super close to Pilsen Community Books (which I saw someone else recommend). All of those things (+ the art museum) are within a 15 minute walk.
