New legislation idea: if you’re a landlord and you’re caught denying someone housing based on their source of income more than once, your property will be seized.

Yes but what does it mean? Alina was telling me earlier (tagged here) that there is some perception that social housing = sec8/somehow just eliding the question of public housing….ie i think we need more meat on the bones

Read the proposal cea! It says what it means. We don’t have much straight up public housing left here tho. Municipalizing will look different in different places ofc.

I do think that the NTBOR is actually a way to close the daylight btwn sec 9 and sec 8, actually reform and address the problems w sec 8, use that massive (and relatively stable) funding stream as leverage towards municipalization maybe everywhere. Basically sec 8 is just money..
