      I think people (housing, land use, planners) on the left (organizers, advocates, leaders etc) need to be a lot more specific about this word in order to do our work in a way that fights white supremacy

      A lot of times “community” is about local self determination which is good, maybe, depending on who determines; we also use it as shorthand too much because we aren’t that good at talking about race or poverty
