I don’t want to vote for candidates who didn’t make the debates: I think they’re untested in front of the NY electorate and that is important.
But these are all good points y’all are making and I should rank Maya higher. Releasing a housing plan so late in the game isn’t a good way to get my support and I feel like she’s not taking my top issue seriously.

I understand that. And if Scott wasn’t an abuser, I would agree with you. But I am not seeing an acknowledgment of these allegations when he is mentioned, and I am a fervent believer that in a race like this that should follow him. Especially after the way he handled it.

And I take the lack of acknowledgment as pretending that it’s not there, which I’m sure you’re not doing. But it feels incredibly disingenuous to only address the positives when everyone knows the elephant in the room.
