The Crystal Hudson vs. Michael Hollingsworth City Council race for Laurie Cumbo's seat is probably the most interesting in NYC. It's a massive clash between DSA and the nonprofit left, with Hakeem Jeffries leaning in hard to not lose another election.
I don’t know that that’s accurate. A lot of the NFP left is w Mike. NYCC, JFREJ, Met Council, CHTU (which is not non-profit but did grow out of one) The NFP left groups supporting Crystal are great but frankly don’t organize much in the district and they wouldn’t claim to!
