My thinking on this is that Scott will hold onto a lot of his voters but won't outlast these other candidates in the elimination rounds. I think we're headed toward Stringer being eliminated in early rounds as a universal scenario, if he stays in the race...
Which other candidates? It really just like depends. Also what if (likely) Stringer #1 ppl do go MW/DM but still can't stomach Yang/Adams and end up ranking Stringer 3rd anyway, what happens? Is this enough for them to just not rank him entirely?
