lots of thoughts kicking around my head abt "social housing" (whatever the hell that is) and how impossible it is in the US context (esp absent a mass, democratic, tenant union). i wish i could organize them and say something interesting! but instead i just tweet! help!

nah it's shyt. But i'll say one thing I've decided is that for this to happen we need BOTH the organization you speak of AND a total systemic collapse of the housing system. And that combo is hard and scary.
