“All housing should be free! Luxury apartments inside of Central Park for everyone.” I am paraphrasing @ceaweaver here.

I like the idea of everyone having reasonable shelter. I wonder if your disdain for gov assistance also extends to "Free" tax breaks for millions of homeowners as well as other legal perks and privileges homeowners receive.

And @ceaweaver should have the gumption to do the same for renters. Give low income renters housing allowances, tax breaks, etc.

It might be more effective for low income renters and tenants to lobby and work together. That being said, landlords advocating for the status quo of evicting tenants that can't pay is definitely not helping to foster solidarity and teamwork.

Not all tenants are the same. And not all homeowners (or landlords) with tenants are the same. Bad tenants and bad landlords should both have a fast track path to resolution.
