clt's shouldn't be led by non-profits with purposes outside of hosting the CLT - it allows the source of funding to be more direct and like streamlines processes

i won't assign a leftist score but i can't see how localism can be bad when speaking about how to have democratic control of one's housing, the most localized thing there is.

I don’t think I could disagree more! “Local control” over housing / neighborhoods has led to incredibly racist land use practices for centuries. Exclusionary zoning, deed restrictions, etc etc etc
