Once a male legislator (one who can barely keep a woman on staff) yelled at me until I was in tears about what an idiot I am, but then I went to buy shoes at Century 21 and I love those shoes

I will honestly never, ever understand how it has somehow become acceptable/commonplace for legislators to treat people this way. If people hear a story about me going off/cursing someone out, it will be because I heard something like this happening live!
