          For one year, Amazon will not use this one small system to murder Black people. After that year, they'll reassess whether they're into using this system to murder Black people. In the meantime, feel free to use any of the other systems they have to murder Black people.

          Nobody knows if police departments are actually using Rekognition, people more expert than me say cops use other facial recognition software. But 1300+ police departments *do* "partner" with Ring to gather the video they run through that other software.
