The tweets that are “WFP didn’t endorse my candidate and I am pissed at them” don’t bother me. That’s part of supporting candidate! The tweets that are “Look, I know WFP and this is so typical because (proceeds to very incorrectly describe WFP and their history)” are a bummer.

Agree w this a lot, but like you’re always gonna know organizations you’re in/close to better than the movement does, and this is an example of WFP engaging w and opening itself up to the movement (I guess ppl are debating if they did so authentically)
Still thinking abt this.....I guess my comms advice here is that no amount of explaining the process is gonna make ppl who wanna hate not hate, and all the “we had a transparent process” tweets are probably having the opposite of the intended effect. All you can do out-organize.
