I get like 10 a day. I’m like how many people can we feed with this money?
Does this mean you’re anti-public financing of elections or are we joking around on twitter? The alternative (only elites can run) feels way worse, and publicly investing in a robust democracy (publicly funded elections) makes austerity choices (food versus mailers) less relevant

If we are joking around on twitter i agree, lol. But if it’s a serious take (we are investing in elections over a social safety net and other priorities) it feels like a false dichotomy to me! With much love and respect ofc
