There are reasons this is true.
The leadership is busy working and not standing in front of the camera for press conferences, tweeting or traveling across the country campaigning.
Was the poll taken statewide or NYC? Stewart-Cousins does not live or rep NYC.
Pretty sure it was a statewide poll but I agree that if it was done in their districts it might look diff! I don’t think it’s abt cameras and press tho, I think it’s abt transparent/accountable leadership AND a commitment to being more ppl into politics.
